Comings and goings

Wow, you stop posting for a couple of months and the whole blogosphere moves.

Pharyngula, the biggest science blog that there is has joined a whole bunch of other science bloggers at… Science blogs. Pharyngula’s new home is here.

My Dunedin counterpart Huw has re-launched his blog robotines with the oh so meta idea of blogging about writing blogging software with which to blog about writing blogging software.

And finally a new blog with some old names. Xavier formally of About Town fame is one member of Kete Were, a new project aimed at writing about stuff that matters and avoiding the name calling, toy throwings, dummy spits and tantrums that fill so many comments threads. Go help him fight the sort of barbarism that would have people call science blogging “long and boring’

That blog universe never stands still, does it?

I've just added Science and Sensibility to a new repository of NZ blog links housed at longwhitecloud.org.nz.

Cheers,

Rich.
